Frequently Asked Questions
Got questions? We've got answers.
Nope! Both classes are designed for complete beginners. You don't need to know anything about 3D printing — that's what we're here for.
First Layer is best for ages 10–14. Print Together is for any age kid plus their parent or guardian — if your kid is excited about 3D printing, they're the right age.
Not for First Layer — we provide Chromebooks for all students. For Print Together, bringing your own laptop is recommended so you can set up slicer software to use at home, but it's not required.
Yes! Signing up online is preferred so we know how many to expect, but walk-ins are absolutely welcome if there's space available.
Every student takes home a 3D print they helped create during class. It's printed right in front of you on one of our machines — yours to keep.
